There are six monetary awards given to AAADS students. They are awarded every year at the end of the spring semester during the AAADS Graduation and Awards Ceremony. The six undergraduate awards are:
The AAADS Senior Seminar Final Project Award
This award recognizes an exemplary senior thesis project in our Senior Seminar course (A493).
The AAADS GPA Award for Majors
This award recognizes outstanding GPAs for AAADS Majors.
The A113 Atkins Foundational Course Highest Performance Award for Fall/Spring
This award recognizes outstanding performance in the A113 Foundational Course for Atkins LLC.
The Joe Russell Leadership Award
This award recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding leadership in many activities and organizations.
The A.B. Assensoh Undergraduate Research Award
This award recognizes students whose accomplishments manifest excellence in research endeavors.
The A.B. Assensoh Undergraduate Creative Activity Award
This award recognizes students whose accomplishments demonstrate excellence in creative enterprises.
Support for your studies
There are many options available to help fund your undergraduate experience. In addition to scholarship opportunities offered by Indiana University and the College of Arts and Sciences, you might find employment in a work-study position or paid internship.
The College of Arts and Sciences, of which AAADS is a part, offers more than 350 scholarships and awards to students. Incoming students who are directly admitted to the College of Arts and Sciences with AAADS as their intended major may be eligible for a number of merit-based scholarships within the College.
