Ph.D. Minor

Ph.D. Minor in African American and African Diaspora Studies

Our department offers a Ph.D. minor in AAADS for students enrolled in any doctoral program at Indiana University.

The minor requires 15 credit hours: A500, Introduction to African American and African Diaspora Studies, and 12 credit hours of a concentration in one of the department’s two tracks: “Power, Citizenship, and the State” and “Race, Representation, and Knowledge Systems.”
