AAADS Graduate Students Have Publications in NCBS Annual Report

Friday, April 1, 2022

This text appears when someone is browsing using assistive technologies.

AAADS graduate students Taylor Duckett, Corryn Anderson, Nya Anthony, Samantha Horton, Madison Clark, and Andrew Stadeker had an commentary published in the inaugural National Council for Black Studies (NCBS) annual report entitled: "Challenges of the Dystopic Present: The Impact of COVID-19 on BIPOC Students" (scroll to page 214). Brandon Stokes also had a commentary published in the same report entitled: "360 Nation - Bridging the Gap Between the Black Community and Black Studies" (scroll to page 223).

Our very own Dr. Valerie Grim is one the five editors (Serie McDougal, Maulana Karenga, James Stewart, and Michael Tillotson) who created and edited the NCBS annual report. This is the first time NCBS has ever issued this type of report.

We have stellar future colleagues!  Well done and huge congrats!
