Olivia Ekeh received an IU Research Arts & Humanities Discretionary Award for the proposal submitted for their project Love Uprising: A Soul Symposium which will be hosted here at IU from April 9-11, 2026. During the 2025-2026 there will be a series of events and programs celebrating the (local) history and legacy of the soul era, prior to the symposium in April.
