  • Professor Amoah-Ramey Awarded CAHI Grant

Dr. Nana Amoah-Ramey Awarded CAHI Grant

Monday, November 24, 2025

CAHI offers a wide array of funding opportunities for faculty members to pursue research and creative activity in the arts and humanities, including fellowships and grants for travel, support for workshops and symposia, and more. Professor Amoah-Ramey is delighted to use this funding to finish her book manuscript, Converging Identities: Black Women's Power through Activism and Musical Culture Across Ghana and the United States.  Professor Ramey believes this highlights the importance of their contribution to African American and African Diaspora Studies and to the College of Arts and Humanities.
